taikonaut
Shenzhou crew member
A taikonaut is a Chinese astronaut—someone who travels to space as part of China's national space program.
The term combines the Chinese word for space (tàikōng) with the -naut suffix familiar from astronaut and cosmonaut.
China's taikonauts completed their first spacewalk in 2008.
