responsibilities
Things you handle
Responsibilities are duties or obligations one is expected to fulfill.
The word often implies accountability—if something goes wrong, it falls on whoever had responsibility: The project's failure was entirely my responsibility.
Responsibilities can be assigned (job responsibilities) or assumed (family responsibilities).
To take responsibility is to accept blame or ownership; to shirk responsibilities is to avoid them.
