commitments
Pledges you keep
Commitments are obligations or pledges that bind you to a course of action.
The word covers formal agreements (financial commitments, contractual commitments) and personal promises (family commitments, a commitment to sobriety).
Having too many commitments means being overextended.
A commitment can also mean dedication to a cause or relationship: Their commitment to each other never wavered.
