momentarily
Just a moment
Momentarily means for a brief moment: The lights flickered momentarily before going out.
In American English, it also means in a moment—very soon: The doctor will be with you momentarily.
This second sense, though common, irritates some speakers who insist momentarily should only mean "for a moment," not "in a moment."
