logomarks
Wordless company emblems
A logomark is a symbol or graphic element that represents a brand without using the company name—the Nike swoosh, the Apple apple, the Twitter bird.
Distinguished from logotypes, which are stylized text treatments of a brand name.
Established brands often use logomarks alone, relying on recognition built over time: Their logomark appears on everything from sneakers to billboards.
