joiner
One who connects parts
A joiner is a woodworker who specializes in making furniture, cabinets, doors, window frames, and other fitted woodwork—distinguished from a carpenter, who does heavier structural work.
In British usage especially, the distinction matters: joiners work at a bench with finer pieces, carpenters work on-site with beams and frames.
A joiner is also someone inclined to join organizations: He's a joiner—belongs to every club in town.
