hailer
Curbside cab caller
A hailer is a person who hails—calling out to get attention or greeting someone: The hailer on the dock waved us in.
More commonly, hailer refers to a device for projecting the voice, especially a megaphone or bullhorn: The coach shouted through a hailer.
A loud-hailer is the British term for what Americans call a bullhorn.
