Hail Mary
Marian Catholic devotion
The Hail Mary is a Catholic prayer to the Virgin Mary, beginning with the angel Gabriel's greeting at the Annunciation: "Hail Mary, full of grace." It's one of the most recited prayers in Catholic tradition, central to the rosary.
She said three Hail Marys as penance. (Lowercase hail mary is a desperate attempt.)
