groover

One who moves

A groover is someone who grooves—enjoying music, dancing, or moving rhythmically with evident pleasure.

The term peaked in 1960s and 70s slang, when it described someone hip or cool: He was a real groover back in the disco days.

Now it sounds dated, often used nostalgically or ironically.
