phraseology
How something's expressed
Phraseology is the particular words and expressions someone uses, or the way ideas are expressed in a specific context: legal phraseology, the phraseology of the contract.
It often suggests distinctive or characteristic language—the phraseology of a region, profession, or individual: His phraseology marked him as a lawyer.
