wordbook
Lexicon in print
A wordbook is a book containing lists of words, typically with definitions or translations—essentially a dictionary or vocabulary reference.
The term is somewhat old-fashioned, largely replaced by dictionary in common usage.
It sometimes appears in titles of specialized references: a rhyming wordbook, a wordbook of American English.
