futsal
Small-court soccer
Futsal is a form of indoor soccer played on a hard court with five players per side.
The ball is smaller and less bouncy than a standard soccer ball, emphasizing close control and quick passing.
The name combines the Spanish or Portuguese words for room (*sala*) and football: The Brazilian national team credits futsal for developing their technical skills.
