house league
Noncompetitive community sports
A house league is a recreational sports league where teams are formed from players within a single organization or community, rather than competing against outside clubs.
Unlike travel or competitive leagues, house leagues emphasize participation over winning: My son plays house league hockey on Saturday mornings.
The term is especially common in Canadian youth sports.
