fives
Plural of five
Fives is a British handball game played against one or more walls, typically in an enclosed court.
Players strike a small, hard ball with gloved hands.
The two main variants—Eton fives and Rugby fives—developed at English public schools and retain their names.
The game survives mainly in schools with courts purpose-built for it.
