fibromas
Noncancerous fibrous masses
Fibromas are benign tumors composed of fibrous connective tissue.
They can develop in various parts of the body, most commonly in the skin, mouth, or uterus.
A single growth is a fibroma; fibromas is the standard plural, though fibromatae appears in medical contexts.
The dentist found several fibromas on the inside of her cheek.
