elevations
Points above sea-level
Elevations are heights above a reference point, typically sea level: The city sits at an elevation of 5,000 feet.
In architecture, an elevation is a drawing showing one face of a building as if viewed straight on.
The word also describes the act of raising something—physical or abstract: his elevation to the presidency, elevation of the host during Mass.
