dejections
Feces or sadness
Dejections is the plural of dejection, which has two distinct meanings.
The more common is a state of low spirits or depression: His dejections after each failure grew harder to shake.
The other, more clinical sense refers to fecal matter or the act of defecating—what the body ejects.
Both senses share the idea of something cast down or expelled.
