downrange

Away from shooter

Downrange means in the direction a weapon is aimed or a projectile travels—away from the firing point toward the target area.

Military bases have downrange zones where bullets and shells land.

The term extends to aerospace: a rocket's downrange distance is how far it travels horizontally from launch.

The target is two hundred meters downrange.
