ranging

Extending across distances

Ranging describes movement or extension across a space, scale, or set of possibilities.

When prices are ranging from ten to fifty dollars, they span that interval; when animals are ranging across the plains, they roam freely over territory.

The word often appears in constructions with "from...to" to indicate the endpoints of variation: Topics ranging from politics to pop culture dominated the conversation.

Ranging can also describe the act of arranging or aligning things in rows or order.
