collages
Glued picture medleys
Collages are works of art made by assembling diverse materials—paper, photographs, fabric, found objects—onto a surface.
The technique emphasizes juxtaposition and layering: She made collages from old magazines and ticket stubs.
Figuratively, anything assembled from disparate elements may be called a collage: The film was a collage of documentary footage and interviews.
