paper collage
Cut-and-paste artwork
Paper collage is an art technique in which pieces of paper—cut or torn from various sources—are arranged and glued onto a surface to create a composition.
The papers might include magazine clippings, newspapers, colored paper, photographs, or found ephemera: She made a paper collage from old travel brochures.
The term distinguishes this form from collages using fabric, found objects, or digital elements.
