cephalic
Of the skull
Cephalic is a technical adjective meaning of or relating to the head.
It appears most often in medical and anatomical contexts: the cephalic end of an organism is the head end, and cephalic presentation describes a baby positioned headfirst for delivery.
A cephalic index is a ratio of skull width to length used in physical anthropology.
