baronies
Lords' territorial holdings
Baronies is the plural of barony, the domain or territory of a baron.
In feudal systems, a barony was land held directly from the crown, carrying certain rights and obligations.
The term appears in historical and fantasy contexts: The kingdom was divided into several baronies, each ruled by a noble family.
In Ireland, baronies were administrative divisions used into the 20th century.
