field show
Band halftime spectacle
A field show is a marching band performance on a football field or similar outdoor venue, featuring choreographed formations, music, and often color guard elements.
The term distinguishes these halftime and competition performances from parades or indoor shows: The band spent months preparing their field show for state finals.
