attitude adjustment
Changing your outlook
Attitude adjustment is a change in someone's disposition or outlook, usually from negative to positive.
Often used as a pointed suggestion that someone needs to correct their behavior or stop being difficult: You need an attitude adjustment.
The phrase can also refer euphemistically to having a drink to unwind or improve one's mood: I stopped at the bar for an attitude adjustment after work.
