growth mindset
Abilities can develop
Growth mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through effort, learning, and persistence—as opposed to being fixed traits you're born with.
The concept, popularized by psychologist Carol Dweck, holds that people who see talent as malleable tend to embrace challenges and learn from failure: She approaches setbacks with a growth mindset.
