app store
Digital download hub
An app store is a digital marketplace where users can browse, download, and purchase software applications for their devices.
Apple's App Store and Google Play are the dominant platforms for mobile apps, though the term applies generically to any such distribution platform: I found a great weather app in the app store. (Capitalized App Store refers specifically to Apple's platform.)
