Veterans Day
Military service holiday
Veterans Day is a U.S. federal holiday on November 11 honoring all who have served in the armed forces.
Unlike Memorial Day, which commemorates those who died in service, Veterans Day recognizes living and deceased veterans alike.
The date marks the 1918 armistice ending World War I.
The parade included veterans from three generations.
