GI Bill
Tuition for vets
The GI Bill is U.S. legislation providing educational and other benefits to military veterans.
The original 1944 law funded college tuition, job training, and home loans for returning World War II servicemen, fundamentally reshaping American higher education and the middle class.
Subsequent versions have extended similar benefits to later generations of veterans: He's using the GI Bill to pay for law school.
