All Souls Day
Deceased commemoration day
All Souls Day is a Christian observance on November 2nd dedicated to praying for the souls of the dead, particularly those believed to be in purgatory.
It follows All Saints Day and is most prominently observed in Roman Catholic tradition, though some Anglican and other Christian denominations also mark it.
The day involves visiting graves, lighting candles, and attending memorial masses.
In Latin American cultures, it coincides with Día de los Muertos celebrations.
