Steven Spielberg
Steven Spielberg is an American film director and producer, among the most commercially successful in cinema history.
His work spans blockbuster entertainment (*Jaws*, *E.T.*, *Jurassic Park*, the Indiana Jones series) and serious drama (*Schindler's List*, *Saving Private Ryan*).
His name has become shorthand for crowd-pleasing filmmaking with technical polish: It's very Spielberg—emotional, spectacular, maybe a bit manipulative.
