David Lynch
David Lynch is an American filmmaker known for surreal, unsettling work that blends the mundane with the nightmarish.
His films—*Eraserhead*, *Blue Velvet*, *Mulholland Drive*—and the television series *Twin Peaks* established a distinctive aesthetic sometimes called Lynchian: ordinary settings harboring darkness, dream logic, and images that disturb without fully explaining themselves.
The show had a very Lynchian quality—diners and curtains and something deeply wrong underneath.
