titan

A titan is someone of extraordinary size, strength, or achievement in their field: a titan of industry, literary titans.

The word evokes immense power and influence, often applied to business leaders, athletes, or creative figures who dominate their domains.

The original Titans were primordial Greek gods who preceded the Olympians—their overthrow by Zeus became a symbol for any clash of great powers. (Capitalized Titan is Saturn's largest moon or a member of the mythological race.)
