Oppenheimer
Oppenheimer is a German-Jewish surname meaning "from Oppenheim," a town in Germany.
The name is most associated with J.
Robert Oppenheimer (1904–1967), the American physicist who directed the Manhattan Project and is often called "the father of the atomic bomb." His story of scientific triumph shadowed by moral anguish has made the name synonymous with the ethical burdens of world-changing invention: an Oppenheimer moment, the Oppenheimer of artificial intelligence.
