Little Rock

Razorbacks' home city

Little Rock is the capital and largest city of Arkansas, situated on the Arkansas River in the center of the state.

The name comes from a rocky outcrop on the riverbank that early French explorers used as a landmark.

The city gained national attention during the 1957 desegregation crisis, when federal troops enforced integration at Central High School.
