Fayetteville

Northwest Arkansas city

Fayetteville is the name of several American cities, the largest being in North Carolina—home to Fort Bragg and a major military community—and in Arkansas, seat of the University of Arkansas.

The name honors the Marquis de Lafayette, the French general who aided the American Revolution.

I'm driving up to Fayetteville this weekend.
