Great Falls
Potomac's dramatic cascades
Great Falls is a city in north-central Montana, named for a series of waterfalls on the Missouri River.
It serves as a regional hub for agriculture and is home to Malmstrom Air Force Base.
The falls themselves, which Lewis and Clark portaged around in 1805, are now largely harnessed for hydroelectric power.
