Greensboro

Carolina Piedmont city

Greensboro is a city in north-central North Carolina, the third-largest in the state.

It anchors the Piedmont Triad region alongside Winston-Salem and High Point.

The city figured prominently in civil rights history—the 1960 Woolworth's lunch counter sit-ins began there, sparking similar protests across the South.

I'm driving down to Greensboro for a conference.
