LimeWire
Defunct sharing software
LimeWire was a peer-to-peer file-sharing program popular in the early 2000s, used primarily for downloading music, often illegally.
It became synonymous with digital piracy and, notoriously, with inadvertently downloading malware or mislabeled files: I got so many viruses from LimeWire back in the day.
The service was shut down in 2010 after legal action from the recording industry.
