Kazaa
Early piracy platform
Kazaa was a peer-to-peer file-sharing application popular in the early 2000s, used primarily to download music and video files.
Like Napster before it, Kazaa became synonymous with music piracy and faced major lawsuits from the recording industry.
The name sometimes appears as a verb: I Kazaa'd that album back in college.
