CSV

Comma-delimited file

CSV stands for comma-separated values, a plain-text file format for storing tabular data.

Each line represents a row, with individual values separated by commas: Download the report as a CSV.

The format's simplicity makes it a universal standard for data exchange between spreadsheets, databases, and programming languages. (Lowercase csv is the same abbreviation, common in technical contexts.)
