Medieval Scottish rebel

Braveheart is the 1995 film depicting Scottish hero William Wallace, directed by and starring Mel Gibson.

The title has become shorthand for someone who fights courageously against overwhelming odds, often with romantic or nationalist overtones: He went full Braveheart in that meeting with corporate.
