Apollo 13
Apollo 13 was a 1970 NASA mission to the Moon that became famous for not reaching it.
An oxygen tank explosion crippled the spacecraft, forcing the crew to use the lunar module as a lifeboat while ground controllers improvised solutions to bring them home safely.
The phrase Houston, we have a problem comes from the crew's radio transmission to mission control.
Apollo 13 has become shorthand for any crisis requiring creative problem-solving under pressure: It was an Apollo 13 moment for the engineering team.
