Barbarians
Titled tribal group
Barbarians originally meant foreigners—people who didn't speak Greek and whose languages sounded like meaningless "bar bar" noise.
The term expanded to mean uncivilized or primitive peoples, especially those seen as threats to established empires: Barbarian hordes swept through Rome.
Now it describes anyone crude, brutal, or culturally unsophisticated: The vandals who defaced the statue were barbarians.
In fantasy gaming and fiction, barbarians are a character class emphasizing raw physical power over refined combat technique.
