Atlantic salmon

Pink-fleshed swimmer

Atlantic salmon is a large fish native to the North Atlantic Ocean and rivers of Europe and northeastern North America.

Unlike Pacific salmon, Atlantic salmon can survive spawning and return to the sea multiple times.

Prized for sport fishing and as food, most Atlantic salmon sold commercially now comes from fish farms: farm-raised Atlantic salmon.
