Americanisation
Adopting US ways
Americanisation is the British spelling of Americanization—the process of making something more American in character, or of adopting American customs, values, or practices.
The term often carries critical overtones, suggesting cultural imperialism or homogenization: Critics decry the Americanisation of British television.
It applies to language, business practices, food culture, and social norms.
