Amazonians
South American natives
Amazonians are people from the Amazon region of South America, or inhabitants of Amazonia—the vast rainforest basin spanning Brazil and neighboring countries.
The term also refers to employees of the company Amazon, used both internally and in business coverage: Amazonians are known for the company's demanding work culture.
In mythology, Amazonians were the legendary female warriors of ancient Greece. (Capitalized Amazon is the river, region, or company.)
