xiangqi
Eastern strategy game
Xiangqi is Chinese chess, a strategy board game for two players.
Like Western chess, it features a king (called a general), advisors, elephants (similar to bishops), horses, chariots (rooks), cannons, and soldiers (pawns).
The board has a river dividing the two sides and palaces confining each general.
He learned xiangqi from his grandfather.
