Wall covering is any material applied to interior walls for decoration or protection.
While paint is technically a wall covering, the term more commonly refers to wallpaper, fabric, vinyl, or textured materials that are hung or adhered to wall surfaces.
We chose a grass cloth wall covering for the dining room.
