damask
Reversible patterned textile
Damask is a richly patterned fabric woven so that the design appears on both sides, traditionally made of silk, linen, or wool.
The term extends to table linens with similar reversible patterns: She spread the damask tablecloth for Sunday dinner.
Damask also describes a grayish-pink color associated with damask roses, and a wavy pattern on steel blades produced by layering different metals.
